The current pace of our modern lives has led to many problems with our health, and the root of most of these problems is stress.

Restorative Yoga focuses on healing and relieving our stress in a supported restful way.

Come and join us in learning the Art of Radical Rest in a busy, over stimulating world.

Weather your furthering your Yoga studies to add another modality to your offerings or wanting to deepen your own rest and stress this training will set you up to skillfully rest.

Re-learning to relax is the heart of living well!

Curriculum:

We will cover in this training:

- The Philosophy of rest – The history, what, how and why of Resting intelligently

- The Anatomy of the Nervous System – we are walking nervous systems

- Teaching Methodology – Elements, language and use of props

- The Layers of the human experience – How the Koshas relate to Restorative Yoga

- Pranayama – Down regulating techniques for Restorative Yoga

- Mindfulness, Visualisation, Meditation and the use of Poetry – Anchoring the mind to soften the body. Yoga Nidra included.

- Asanas – Easy poses that require minimal Props and no long-winded set ups

- Sequencing and theming – Artfully putting together a Restorative experience

- Restorative Yoga for specific conditions – Pregnancy and Injuries and Modern ailments.

- Mastering Savasana – To silence or not to silence.

Upon completion of this training, you will fully understand the power and potency of Restorative yoga. You will be confident in guiding yourself or others into a deep, healing, nourishing experience.
