Louisa
I remember my first yoga class very distinctly - the yoga instructor who later became the one who would inspire and also train me to become a yoga instructor myself, asked me what had brought me to yoga. I remember telling him that I wanted to heal my body, my mind and my spirit. That was over 17 years ago. Since that first class, I know that the healing that I sought, was not a destination but a pathway and a journey.
I studied with Being Yoga on the Sunshine Coast in the Vinyasa style completing my studies in 2009. Venturing out on my own, running my own classes in New South Wales, I found my style of teaching and practicing has evolved into a slower version of the vinyasa. I love to really feel what is happening in the body, the mind and the heart and the body then finds the next pose in the flow.
Practicing this way also helps to keep the body safer, especially, if like me, you have experienced injury. One has time to notice and decide whether to go deeper or to ease off and keep the body safe. This slower paced style of teaching naturally led me to study restorative yoga and yin yoga, both deeply nurturing and nourishing practices that allows the business of my goldfish brain to find stillness and quiet.
This is also what I endeavour to pass on to my students. I believe that there is a way for everyone in the world to practice yoga, and that everyone in the world should practice yoga in some form or other.
I consider it a great privilege to be able to share yoga, for it has not only allowed me to help others find the many layered benefits of yoga, but been an incredible journey of healing that I am still travelling. I really cannot imagine my life without it.
The light within me bows to the light within you and may we find unity and connection together in our yoga practice.

Jamie H
Jamie was introduced to a Hatha Yoga class over 20 years ago by his girlfriend at the time. Since then he has practiced Yoga on and off over the years, gaining a deep appreciation for its physical, mental and emotional benefits. From a young age Jamie has been involved in martial arts, which eventually led him to discover Kung Fu in his late teens. The journey through martial arts brought him to Qigong and Neigong, these energetic practices forming the foundation for his Kung Fu training. He has devoted many years to the teaching of martial arts and Qigong until the accumulation of injuries caught up with him. Seeking a way to heal and rejuvenate, Jamie returned to Yoga, embracing its benefits once again. This renewed passion led him to take the plunge in 2024 and undertake Hatha/Vinyasa and Yin Yoga teacher training, marking a significant milestone in his journey. Jamie has a profound interest in meditation, pranayama and the power of breath and movement. He enjoys incorporating these elements into his classes, helping students cultivate inner strength and awareness and release stress and tension throughout the body. When not practicing Yoga, Qigong or martial arts, Jamie cherishes time spent with his family. His dedication to his family and his practice exemplifies his holistic approach to life, wellness and teaching.

Hollie
I have been practising yoga since 2013 and completed my teacher training at The Zen Den in 2025, after many years of procrastination and self doubt it was life changing and one of the best decisions I have made to date.
My teaching is grounded in mindfulness, including the styles of Vinyasa, Yin and Restorative Yoga; inviting students to move with awareness, curiosity, and kindness toward themselves. My classes balance strength and softness, weaving breath, alignment, and quiet moments of reflection into creative, accessible flows. I draw inspiration from yogic philosophy, seasonal rhythms, and the simple practice of listening inward, encouraging students to honour where they are each day rather than striving for an ideal shape.
My why comes from experiencing yoga as more than just physical movement. What began as a way to move my body became a tool for self-compassion, nervous system regulation, and learning how to meet life with a little more ease.
I aim to create a space where people can slow down, feel supported, and reconnect to their breath, body, and a sense of inner steadiness that carries off the mat.
Outside of yoga I enjoy spending time with a good book, going on an adventure with my amazing partner, or looking after foster kittens as well as two of my own cats.

Traci
I am a mind–body connection specialist with over 30 years’ experience supporting adults and children across public and private settings. My background includes formal qualifications in psychology, criminology, mental health science, neuroscience, and the neurobiology of trauma, and many years working in counselling, individual support, and group facilitation.
In recent years, my work has expanded through a deeply personal journey of self-discovery and embodiment via yoga. I am trained in Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative Yoga, and Yoga Nidra, and I bring these practices together with trauma-informed principles to support nervous system safety, regulation, and reconnection. I am also a qualified Reiki Level 2 practitioner.
My approach is gentle, grounded, and choice-led, honouring each person’s pace, lived experience, and innate capacity for healing.

Michelle
Hi, I’m Michelle. I teach Slow Flow Yoga — a gentle, grounding practice to help you slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with yourself.
I found yoga after my divorce, during a time of deep anxiety and change. What started as a way to cope soon became my path to healing. Yoga helped me rediscover my strength, peace, and presence — and I love how I feel after every practice: calm, open, and alive.
Family is my heart, and living in the now is my intention — both on and off the mat. My classes are an invitation to move mindfully, nurture yourself, and find balance in the beautiful chaos of life.
Come breathe, move, and feel — one gentle flow at a time.
