Louisa
I remember my first yoga class very distinctly - the yoga instructor who later became the one who would inspire and also train me to become a yoga instructor myself, asked me what had brought me to yoga. I remember telling him that I wanted to heal my body, my mind and my spirit. That was over 17 years ago. Since that first class, I know that the healing that I sought, was not a destination but a pathway and a journey.
I studied with Being Yoga on the Sunshine Coast in the Vinyasa style completing my studies in 2009. Venturing out on my own, running my own classes in New South Wales, I found my style of teaching and practicing has evolved into a slower version of the vinyasa. I love to really feel what is happening in the body, the mind and the heart and the body then finds the next pose in the flow.
Practicing this way also helps to keep the body safer, especially, if like me, you have experienced injury. One has time to notice and decide whether to go deeper or to ease off and keep the body safe. This slower paced style of teaching naturally led me to study restorative yoga and yin yoga, both deeply nurturing and nourishing practices that allows the business of my goldfish brain to find stillness and quiet.
This is also what I endeavour to pass on to my students. I believe that there is a way for everyone in the world to practice yoga, and that everyone in the world should practice yoga in some form or other.
I consider it a great privilege to be able to share yoga, for it has not only allowed me to help others find the many layered benefits of yoga, but been an incredible journey of healing that I am still travelling. I really cannot imagine my life without it.
The light within me bows to the light within you and may we find unity and connection together in our yoga practice.

Jamie H
Jamie was introduced to a Hatha Yoga class over 20 years ago by his girlfriend at the time. Since then he has practiced Yoga on and off over the years, gaining a deep appreciation for its physical, mental and emotional benefits. From a young age Jamie has been involved in martial arts, which eventually led him to discover Kung Fu in his late teens. The journey through martial arts brought him to Qigong and Neigong, these energetic practices forming the foundation for his Kung Fu training. He has devoted many years to the teaching of martial arts and Qigong until the accumulation of injuries caught up with him. Seeking a way to heal and rejuvenate, Jamie returned to Yoga, embracing its benefits once again. This renewed passion led him to take the plunge in 2024 and undertake Hatha/Vinyasa and Yin Yoga teacher training, marking a significant milestone in his journey. Jamie has a profound interest in meditation, pranayama and the power of breath and movement. He enjoys incorporating these elements into his classes, helping students cultivate inner strength and awareness and release stress and tension throughout the body. When not practicing Yoga, Qigong or martial arts, Jamie cherishes time spent with his family. His dedication to his family and his practice exemplifies his holistic approach to life, wellness and teaching.

Yoga has always been on my “radar”. I clearly remember my first class and the teacher gently stroking my arm when everyone was leaving, to wake me up from savasana !
I’ve attended Yoga retreats in Bali and progressed to being part of the presentation team. I finally cemented my practice in 2019 by becoming a Yoga teacher.
I have 3 children, 2 grandchildren and a crazy border collie !

Amanda
Hi there! My name is Amanda, and I am a yoga teacher, mat Pilates instructor, and life enthusiast with over a decade of experience. My classes are infused with a playful, supportive energy, rooted in the belief that yoga is for everyone.
Yoga transformed my life, providing me with the tools to prioritize my well-being and navigate life with greater ease and health. My mission is to share these tools in a way that aligns with the demands of modern living, making yoga accessible, enjoyable, and meaningful for all.
I view Pilates as much more than a fitness endeavor—it's a lifestyle choice. Pilates is a mind-body practice that promotes focus, precision, and a deep connection to movement. My teaching style emphasizes these elements, helping students cultivate strength, alignment, and mindfulness both on and off the mat.
Outside the studio, my passions include family, hiking, staying strong, and swimming. These joys fuel my commitment to living vibrantly and inspire my teaching.
Join me on the mat, and let's explore the transformative power of yoga and Pilates together. Namaste.

Jamie S
Jamie is your quintessential go-getter and high achiever, with her Singaporean Chinese heritage to thank for her fierce tenacity. Previously an Environmental Scientist, Jamie found yoga at the gym 16 years ago, practised in a less than mindful way with thumping techno reverberating through the floors, with hard-core cardio workout and poses in mind to achieve. It wasn’t until life threw Jamie some unexpected curve balls that Jamie found herself back at the feet of yoga, searching for a sense of quietude and clarity within that the practice brought. Since then, Jamie has continued to deepen her self-exploration through yoga study, emotional release bodywork, psychosomatic therapy, yoga therapy, meditation, reiki and more. Yoga for Jamie became so much more than a workout only on the mat; it became the empowering practice of continually learning to honour, listen and communicate effectively with one’s body, mind, spirit and soul. Jamie is now a mind-body practitioner passionate and deeply dedicated to supporting transformational change through self awareness using a holistic, integrative and nurturing approach. 2024 marks her 8th year of teaching. In her classes and 1:1 sessions, with lightness and brightness, Jamie guides in a way that bridges ancient wisdom and modern science, encouraging and inviting authentic, empowered, self-aware practice. Jamie draws from the science of neuroplasticity, chakras, emotional anatomy, ayurveda, astrology, the Akashic Records, multiple yogic lineages and elemental wisdom. It is Jamie’s intention, through body movement and awareness, to share tools to help others rediscover and reconnect with their inner leading person, to be wholly who they are, creating a spacious, sustainable, healthy and nourishing life.

Michelle
Hi, I’m Michelle. I teach Slow Flow Yoga — a gentle, grounding practice to help you slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with yourself.
I found yoga after my divorce, during a time of deep anxiety and change. What started as a way to cope soon became my path to healing. Yoga helped me rediscover my strength, peace, and presence — and I love how I feel after every practice: calm, open, and alive.
Family is my heart, and living in the now is my intention — both on and off the mat. My classes are an invitation to move mindfully, nurture yourself, and find balance in the beautiful chaos of life.
Come breathe, move, and feel — one gentle flow at a time.
